Snarky Puppy to Welcome C4 Trío and Nate Wood – fOUR on North American Tour
Today, hot on the heels of securing the award for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album Grammy for Empire Central, the esteemed music collective Snarky Puppy announced they’ll be joined by C4 Trío and Nate Wood – fOUR during their North American tour in support of the LP.
C4 Trío, an ensemble of three Venezuelan cuatro players: Jorge Glem, Hector Molina, and Edward Ramírez, along with bassist Rodner Padilla, will bring their prominent cuatro playing style to the first half of Snarky Puppy’s upcoming dates starting with a performance at the Palace Theatre in St. Paul, Minn., on March 29 and continue to give them support through April 12 at Chubb Theatre in Concord, N.H., on April 12. Other notable cities that will see support from C4 Trío include Gary, Ind., Cleaveland, Buffalo, N.Y., Boston, Amherst, Mass. and more.
GRAMMY-nominated Nate Wood, a drummer, multi-instrumentalist and mastering engineer based in New York City, will join Snarky Puppy following their performance at the Beacon Theater in New York on April 13 featuring MAGO (Medeski & Martin duo) on April 14 at Union Transfer, in Philadelphia. He’ll continue to perform with Snarky Puppy for nine performances accumulating with a performance at the beautiful and historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn., on April 26. Notably, Snarky Puppy will have another performance set for The Eastern in Atlanta on April 28, with special guests to be announced.
